We strive to serve you and your family with your child's best interest in mind. Medina childcare philosophy is simple; we believe that children need opportunities to investigate, discover and learn in a loving, safe environment. We feel that age and skill appropriate activities are an important part of learning. Learning is based around the idea that every child is smart in his or her own way. We focus on meeting each individual child’s developmental and educational needs. Thank you again for taking interest in our school and we hope to be serving you and your family soon!It is our belief that providing a happy, loving environment in which the child can grow physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually will allow for efficient progress, stronger friendships, and an overall love of learning. Medina Childcare and Academy relies primarily on self-directed play. This promotes the children’s ability to develop their own imaginations, and to select the types of activities that match their interest to interact with others without continual adult intervention. Children are allowed to play freely with proper supervision.
Our purpose is to provide a loving and nurturing environment, strengthening the children in all areas of development through the services of a professional staff, implementing an age appropriate curriculum. Our vision is to prepare children for life; developing them socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We enhance the children’s quality of learning by teaching them through play, language, and unconditional love; giving our families a peace of mind concerning the early education of their children by meeting their needs.
